Draumen om eit småbruk

Ida and Sverre live in the city, and have long dreamed of a small farm out in the country side. After being at a viewing for 20 minutes, they buy it. They are now realizing what they have bought.

The family is starting to face reality. The house is in such poor condition, that they are forced to tear it down. At the same time, they are thinking of future income, and build a greenhouse.

The soil needs to be fixed, if the family are going to make a living out of farming organic vegetables. The children pick stones, with help from their dog Simba.

Over the course of the summer, the greenhouse has been overrun with plants, but Ida discovers that most of it is weeds. Her potatoes were also infested by mould.

The first crops are ready to be harvested. The family invites people to the farm, and has a farmers market

The family hopes to move in by Christmas. Sverre wishes for an excavator. Ida wishes for a horse.
