Dragons' Den (IE)

Dragons' Den is back for a fifth series with three new Dragons, Ramona Nicolas, Peter Casey and Barry O'Sullivan trying to find their feet, but it isn't long before they feel ready to compete with the established names of Gavin Duffy and Sean O'Sullivan. There is a wide range of pitches in this first episode with everything from guitars, to retraining solutions for people who find themselves out of work. But will the Dragons invest their hard earned cash?

Episode 2 of Series 5 and Peter Casey, Ramona Nicholas and Barry O'Sullivan are no longer the new Dragons. Having found their feet in the first day in the Den, they now recognize they will have to fight the other Dragons if they are going to get the investments they want. While €60,000 is invested, another €100,000 is turned down!

While all the other Dragons have secured an investment, Gavin Duffy is still empty handed. Having made offers in episode one and two, he has been turned down twice! Two days in and Gavin is getting more eager than ever to get in on the action.
