Ted Bundy evades the investigations into a string of eight murders in the Pacific Northwest by moving to Salt Lake City, bringing his murder spree into Detective Jerry Thompson's backyard.

As the grisly murders spread to Colorado, Detective Thompson trains his sights on Ted Bundy after a victim escapes and Bundy is arrested for evading police in a Salt Lake City suburb.

Investigative minds meet at the Aspen Summit, and though Ted Bundy receives his first murder charge after detectives from multiple states grill him on tape, he’ll escape to kill again.
