The Hairy Bikers' Meals on Wheels

The Hairy Bikers visit Welwyn Garden City - the birthplace of Meals on Wheels. David and Simon try some of the frozen food options available and visit a local authority kitchen. They learn what the recipients of the meals really think of the service and how it impacts on their lives. David and Simon work to try and inspire a new generation of helpers to revamp the way the kitchen works.

The Bikers discover that there is a dire shortage of volunteers to deliver the meals. The kitchen workers find it hard to deal with the extra workload which has been created by the duo's new menus. A shortage of people to deliver the meals also causes issues and the council bosseswant to see an increase in volunteers if the project is to continue

Dave and Si travel to Slaithwaite in Yorkshire, to help a group of inspirational business women set up a hot meals on wheels service from nothing in their local area.

Dave and Si hit the capital to spread their message while serving up snazzy snacks.
