In this episode, Jason, Amy and Ortis join forces in the first gadget build of the series. This time, they turn their attention to the world of gestural control. After getting their hands on a rather clever ring that tracks human motion to the tiniest degree, they have the neat idea to marry the technology up to a construction digger and use it to knock down a building.
Britain’s favourite pooch, Pudsey, joins the presenting team for one week, bringing along his owner Ashley to help him test some doggie gadgets. These include a rather peculiar device that promises to do away with the pooper scooper.
Jon is in his element testing the latest mirrorless cameras, a technology that has made the trusty DSLR look rather bloated. Will the newer format produce great pictures too? To find out, Jon spends a day at the UK’s leading air show and conducts a video test 12,000ft above the Northamptonshire countryside.
Finally, Ortis has another report from South Korea, finding out what the future will be like when the gadgets finally take over. Jason joins the growing trend for beards, although his interest is purely professional. He will be doing some gadget testing to find out which clipper cuts the cleanest.
