Alison cries, ""You're crazy!"" Roger, though, retorts, ""Why don't we let the police decide that, hmm, Patricia?"" He goes on, ""Did I ever tell you I was a religious man, Patricia? I am: I read the bible quite often. And you know what passage springs to mind? Exodus, Chapter 2, Verse 24: 'An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.' You made me suffer when you killed Luke, more than I've ever suffered in my life. Now it's your turn."" Alison stares at him and asks, ""That's how you justify murder, is it? Selected bible readings?"" Roger, though, retorts, ""Who said anything about murder? You're going to jail, Patricia - eventually.""
