Skate no Quintal

A concrete ramp at the back of a house, in the south of São Paulo, is one of the most traditional backyard lanes in Brazil. The Mureta half, as it is known, is considered a national skate sanctuary.

3 different tracks: the wooden half pipe of Rony Gomes, in Atibaia; a mini ramp in the middle of Fabio Schumacher's office and a skatepark in the backyard of a house, on the south coast of São Paulo.

We visited a place that is the dream of every skateboarder, where the several times world champion of vert, Sandro Dias, built a huge bowl and a shed where he leaves the largest wooden half pipe in Brazil.
