Nurses (2015)

We are introduced to our six nursing students as they prepare to leave their college comforts behind, in place of life on medical's front-line.

The students begin their placements and are soon confronted with the harsh realities at hand as Heather experiences a death and Eleanor's nerves get the better of her.

The stress of the job begins to take its toll on our nurses as Ken carries out a nerve-wracking procedure while Linda reveals her past struggles with depression.

Linda is becoming emotionally attached to her patients while Eleanor starts to turn the corner at Lismore. Joanna is run off her feet at UHW and weighs up the pros and cons of moving abroad after placement.

Mary struggles to organise a trip to Dublin for her patient, while Ken considers making a trip to the Labour Court to protest over student nurses' low pay.

Eleanor has put her tough start to life at Lismore behind her and begins to take on a more senior role. Meanwhile, Ken and friends make the trip to the Labour Court on behalf of the INMO in protest over student nurses' low pay.
