When Orra unlocks a magical color change power in Jordie, Kishiko, Shellnelle, Harmonique and Riviera, it totally changes their lives. They have all been chosen to use their talents in fashion, sports, music, and pop culture to save the city! But how did it all happen? When did these best friends become the chosen ones? Kishiko gives Jordie a makeover! Jordi's glamorous photoshoot is happening soon! She may be a pro in the sports world, but photoshoots are an entirely new field!

Shellnelle updates Jordie’s look with a fashion makeover! Shellnelle, the fashion designer, is helping Jordie update her outfit for the photoshoot. Meanwhile, Harmonique, Riviera and Kishiko catch up on Mystic City News.

Harmonique and Riviera are going to turn Jordie into a star! Jordie has never done a photoshoot before, so her friends are here to help! Even though everyone is super talented at what they do, it turns out they still all feel nervous from time to time! Whether it's putting on a rock show or creating runway ready looks, it didn't just magically happen! Just like everything else, practice makes perfect. Soon the girls are going to turn Jordie into a photoshoot queen!

The girls all arrive at Jordie's photoshoot and discover that the one and only Orra is there! Thanks to all of their support, Jordie absolutely rocks her poses! After the photoshoot wraps, Orra greets the girls. Turns out she’s been watching them, and she's in need of their help with a mystery that’s plaguing Mystic City.

The shine on the buildings in Mystic City is more than just beautiful, it also powers everything in the city! No more color and light means an end to mermaid way of life! Orra has given Shellnelle, Jordie, Riviera, Harmonique, and Kishiko color change abilities to help fight back, but mastering these new abilities will take some practice! How will the mermaids master their new color changing fins?
