The restaurateur presents the second semi-final as three duos, two from central London and one from Lincoln, cook a three-course meal and serve it to 25 diners against the clock. But with only enough ingredients to make the required number of portions, one slip-up means they will not be able to replace the dish in question. Who has the skills, stamina and strategy to make it through to the final?

In this helping, Marco's food selection for the contenders is characteristically challenging - lamb with sweetbreads, red mullet and haunch of venison. With only four hours to prepare and one hour and forty-five minutes for service, each team is going to have to show tremendous skill and incredible stamina to stand a chance of winning a place in the grand finale.
