Commanders want to eliminate those who don't measure up early on. But even they are surprised at how many people actually fall out during the first hard 24 hours. A recruit breaks his rib after a fall from a helicopter.

After a brief instruction, recruits must lift an unconscious man onto their shoulders. The recruits are then tested on their ability to handle confined spaces and problem-solving skills in pitch darkness. The group is increasingly decimated.

The recruits' experience in fighting is different, to say the least, and this is evident when they go boxing. The recruits choose which two in the group they trust the least - they become team leaders in the next team competition. The pressure intensifies and one of the recruits faints.

The recruits must not be afraid of heights when they have to repel 60 meters down from the Åre cable car and climb back up again. Only a few manage the exercise, which quickly fills their forearms with lactic acid.

In the most dangerous exercise of the competition, the recruits swim under the Rista Falls. Several have the worst experience of their lives in the freezing water when both lifeguards and doctors are forced to respond. The instructors reveal a cheater in the group.

The recruits must use a steel cable to cross Sweden's largest waterfall Tännforsen - 30 meters in the air. Several of the recruits are terrified of heights and the challenge becomes overwhelming for some of the group.
