Dedicated police squads go after violent criminals who are targeting vulnerable lorry drivers and their valuable loads, while investigators identify stolen caravans which have been sold to unsuspecting people who love life on the open road. PC Angus Nairn, a former truck driver goes after truckers who falsify their spies-in-the-cab and shopkeepers in London face attack from two-wheeled terrors with powerful motorbikes and sledgehammers. One gang is caught on CCTV as they smash their way into a Knightsbridge jeweller and steal more than a million pounds in 39 seconds.

Cops from different police forces come together in Warwickshire on the M6 for a massive crackdown on motorists who break the law by driving without licences and insurance. Using a sophisticated Automatic Number Plate Recognition system connected to a special police computer, they find stolen cars which have had their identities changed, illegal immigrants and chemicals for making large quantities of drugs. They also come across a Chinese man who hasn't had a British driving licence for over a year and a motorist who gets stopped every time he gets into his car because someone used his numberplates for an armed robbery.
