And Mother Makes Three

Simon is going camping and has given his mother a long list of essential requirements. In order to acquaint himself with the pitfalls ahead, he decides to spend the night under canvas in the back garden - while Sally worries about him from the comfort of the house.

Sally is determined to get Simon a new bicycle for his birthday and so offers to do extra hours at work. Once she has acquired the bike she then has the problem of keeping it a secret until the happy day...

General Moresby has come to stay in the Harrison household and is receiving a lot of attention - as you would expect for a mynah bird. Inevitably, there is a mishap when the bird goes missing and Sally has to try and replace him.

When there is a major feud between the boys, Sally needs to call on Auntie and Mr. Campbell in an effort to restore peace and harmony to the household.

Simon's bad school report, and his excuse that his teacher picks on him, leads Sally to head to the school ready for battle. But when she meets the teacher, Mr Montgomery, she forgets all about Simon's report as matters take an unexpected turn.

When the boys start kidding Sally about her weight she takes it personally and ends up in a competition with Auntie to see who can lose the most weight in a fortnight.

In an effort to keep the boys away from the television, Sally introduces them to some hobbies, but they are far from happy with her choice.
