American Songbook at NJPAC

Broadway’s brightest stars light up the American Songbook at NJPAC. Host Ted Chapin is joined by special guest Melissa Errico. Tony-nominated Melissa Errico wowed audiences in My Fair Lady, High Society and Amour. Beyond Broadway, she starred in Sunday In The Park With George, Passion and Do I Hear A Waltz?. Her album Sondheim Sublime was called “the best all-Sondheim album ever recorded” (WSJ)

Broadway’s brightest stars light up the American Songbook at NJPAC. Host Ted Chapin is joined by James Monroe Iglehart. Iglehart is best known for his Tony-winning triumph as Genie in Broadway’s Aladdin. He’s also starred in Hamilton and Chicago and guest starred in Freestyle Love Supreme. Recently, James appears in the new season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel & Disney’s Disenchanted.

Tony Award winner Debbie Gravitte (Jerome Robbins’ Broadway, Chicago and Les Miserables) performs an array of Broadway favorites. Songs include “Bewitched”, “Surrey with Fringe on Top” and “My Heart Belongs to Daddy”.

Tony-award winning entertainer Jim Dale (Barnum, Candide, Me and My Girl) performs pieces from his “Just Jim Dale” stage show, an autobiographical journey through his esteemed life and career. Songs include “I Gotta Be Me”, “Me and My Girl” and “Georgy Girl”.

Broadway’s best, including Michael Feinstein, Maureen McGovern, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Billy Porter and Tom Wopat, perform unforgettable numbers like “There’s no Business Like Show Business”, “If I Loved You” and “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”.

Andrea McArdle, Christine Ebersole, Marilyn Maye, Maureen McGovern, Jessie Mueller and Valerie Simpson are among the award-winning talent performing favorite songs including “Tomorrow”, “The Morning After” and “I Feel the Earth Move”.
