Children's wildlife documentary series. Zina, Koko and Gamba, three cheetah cubs growing up in the Masai Mara, are spotted by lions. On the other side of the African plains is Zeb, a new born baby zebra, who is subject to many dangers on his first migration. In northern Canada, Koda the wolf cub lives in a den with her mum, but does the pack have enough food?

Zina, Gamba and Koko, the cheetah cubs, are learning to hunt, Zeb gets lost on his first migration and Koda the wolf pup leaves the den and discovers an exciting world outside, but the pack may not have enough food for all the pups.

The cheetah cubs are growing up fast, but learning to hunt is dangerous. Zeb the zebra has to cross a raging river full of crocodiles on his migration. Koda the wolf pup's pack is threatened by a rival gang and a bear.

The cheetah cubs discover that their mum has left them. Zeb leaves his family, joining a group of young male zebras. Koda fights for her position within the pack. As the neighbouring pack attack, Koda must defend her territory.

After an encounter with lions, one of the cheetah cubs is injured and needs to be looked after by the others. Zeb is fully grown and has to fight for a family of his own. Koda is allowed to join a hunt for a fierce bison.
