Thanks to Vampire Hunter Simon Polidori's colossal failure concerning the fate of Belle, Simon now has to work directly with, and answer to, the Attorney General of The Hunting Party (the worldwide union of vampire hunters) known as "The Litigator"!

The Second Vampire in existence, Vincent, continues to mope around after having been sucker punched by rookie vampire hunter Kristy, Belle's ex-BFF! Meanwhile Erica, The Fourth Vampire to exist, tries to get his head straight as they prepare for The Rise of their Dark Lord Dracula!

Belle continues to feed her hunger with no success whatsoever, and as she feeds on yet another victim and former-BFF Kristy continues to be her back-up, they both discover something unexpected at the scene of a fresh kill...

Two factions head on a collision course: Simon and The Litigator discuss the implications on the return of a being known as a Holy Engine of Destruction, while Vincent and Erica try to figure out exactly how that engine is returning in the first place.

Belle and Kristy learn how to actually fight from vamp/hunter couple Syd & Pierce, while Simon Polidori attempts to finish some business with Erica, who has some unfortunate history with...well...the entire Polidori bloodline.

Belle and Kristy take their combat training to the next level when they have to spar against each other. Meanwhile, Simon and The Litigator have a discussions about the small matter of betrayal from a few minutes earlier.

The Litigator decides to get in touch with our Master Vampires, and proceeds to do so with an intellectual, fully mature and adult conversation about their impending demise. The Question is when, the answer is...

Belle awakes from her whuppin via rock-to-the-head to discover that her status as a vampire has taken a dramatic leap forward, only to then learn she has no choice to but take part of that leap back...the hard way.

Simon and The Litigator speak with the Directors of The Vampire Sciences Division in order to finally determine the accuracy of the vaunted "Dracula Clock": The mathematics formula used to determine when Dracula will rise from his slumber.

The Dracula isn't coming, The Dracula has already been back for 2 days with major effects for everyone: Belle's fangs have suddenly grown back after filing, The Vampire Hunters have a major complication with The First Hunter, and Vincent and Erica have to find the Dark Lord they were supposed to be prepared for!

The Hunting Party's master spy Stakeout is on the case for The Litigator, as Syd is barely in control of herself and Belle hears the voice of The First Vampire in her mind as The Dracula's power slowly returns. Meanwhile, The Dracula is having some issues communicating with people that aren't still in the 1920's.

Belle, now fully aware of her lineage, starts to embrace her vampire when The Dracula is finally able to communicate with her. Meanwhile, The Hunting Party pulls the trigger on a plan to get at Belle and her friends.
