Time for School

It's a big day for four-year old Lucy as she settles into her school at Mere Green School. Everything is new and with lots of children to meet, will she make some friends?

Mitchell has lots of fun dancing with feathers and tries to write his name with the help of Mrs Fieldhouse. The reception class go to their very first swimming lesson - but how will Mitchell manage with all that splashing?

The children go blackberry and apple picking. Davey, Abbie and Charlie use the fruit to bake a delicious crumble for the whole school to enjoy.

The class visits Connor at the island school and Mrs Fieldhouse takes everyone on a trip to explore the island. They have lots of fun splashing in puddles and climb up the look-out tower. Are those black shapes seals in the sea?

At Mere Green Primary School, Tom and Luciana are having fun with floating balls and the parents are on hand for some scarecrow building.

The reception children at Mere Green spot an injured toy cat stuck up a tree, which needs rescuing and a visit to the vet.
