Chad's a gearhead through and through. And a tragic motorcycle accident in his youth never stood in the way of fulfilling his dream of owning a '55 Chevy. Tim and the team surprises this Tacoma, WA family with a full blown makeover of his Handyman Wagon.

Body work continues on the '55 Chevy Handyman when just about every piece of original sheet metal is replaced, even the chassis! Tim Strange and Tommy Boshers bring in some characters to help, while our owner checks in live via video feed for a looksee.

More volunteers and mucho gallons of primer paint and clear are part of week 3 as the car progresses to better than new condition. Build leader Tim Strange provides step-by-step how to on the car painting process, plus how to get that million dollar shine!

Final assembly in our last half hour of Chad's '55 Handyman Wagon, including some last minute engine troubleshooting, a "slot car-like" road test with Tim and Tommy, then the family arrives at the Tech Center for what is a very emotional give back.

Shane inherited a classic truck that has been in his family for decades. Honoring his father and grandfather who have since passed, he asked Tim Strange and our volunteer team for a little help.

With over 600 man hours into the truck during the teardown and metal work stage, work continues as more rust and patch panels are found under the fresh paint. Tim and volunteers provide how-to metal fab tips, as this classic truck gets ready for paint.

Five days left to finish the F2 before the Skennonto family arrives from Pennsylvania to see our take on Shane's dad's classic truck. Guitar legend Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top stops by to lend his support when the truck is test driven before the big reveal.

The Fabulous Hudson Hornet is legend, in NASCAR racing, in animated film, and now on PowerBlock, when Tim Strange rescues a stalled project from a Michigan viewer. Volunteers gently transform history into a show-stopping lead sled!

The transformation of Tom Moore's Hudson from an undone resto-mod to an award-winning lead sled continues when scores of volunteers arrive at the Tech Center for mock up week. Great body work tech highlights week 2 as the '51 Hornet gets ready for paint.

Week 3 means paint/polish and a final fit of dozens of components that will go into Tom's '51 Hornet. We'll look at the history of this amazing car, from NASCAR domination to defining affordable luxury. Plus the owner gets a sneak peek via a live feed.

The final week is frantic in efforts to get the Hudson test driven before the entire Moore Family heads down from Michigan to see Tim's take on the owner's project. Fears are put to rest when they see the final result - a chopped and bagged masterpiece!

Ty Cardona sold his Barracuda as a teen to start a family. 26 years later his kids are grown, and a replacement Mopar sits in his driveway undone. Ty's a firefighter who spends his free time helping others. So we decided to help finish his dream.

More metal mods happen this week when our team of volunteers tackle our firefighter's '74 Challenger. Custom rear spoiler and front and rear valances are hand crafted in efforts to create a one-of-a-kind modern muscle car. Plus Mike & John build a hemi.

With over 1500 hours into the build, Tim and the volunteers spray color, wet sand, buff and polish Ty's Challenger. All this is being done for a PowerBlock viewer who works as a firefighter, and spends all his free time helping others. Good deed done!

5 days to go, Tim Strange & the team ready the Challenger by firing up the hemi, and taking it for a shakedown run. Then Ty Cardona, his wife, kids, and grandchildren enter the Tech Center for their big day - the unveiling of his unique "dream Mopar".
