Richard is delighted to be back for series 27 of RHLSTP and to be within the short-lived window where he can do topical stand up material. It's going to be the last time in a while, though there's talk of a RHLSTP tour! Hie guest is dancer turned comedian turned actor and writer Thanyia Moore. They discuss self-medication, whether Portsmouth is better than Southampton, the work Ola has done to raise funds for and awareness of the situation in Sudan, living next door to her mum, how she stalked her husband (before he was her husband), why it's important to be her authentic self in her stand up and when dealing with TV commissioners and how her new tour show got its name.

His guest is veteran stand-up and cheater of death Markus Birdman. They chat about his journeyman status on the circuit, whether being at a school where your dad worked propelled both Rich and Markus towards comedy, Markus' decision to go on Britain’s Got Talent and whether Simon Cowell understands comedy, how Markus has turned two strokes and a heart operation into comedy, a scary ghost story and why two motorcycle accidents was enough to stop Markus getting on a bike again (not Rich though - he loves motorcycling).

Richard has had an unpleasant experience in a fancy restaurant, but it won’t stop him talking to comedian and podcaster Alison Spittle. They chat about an unexpected pregnancy, turning trauma into comedy and when it’s too soon to do that, why comedians shouldn’t take cocaine, the surprise chemistry between Alison and Kerry Katona and a polite, if creepy attempt at seduction in a hotel lift.
