... a mini-Independant Bottler's rather superb 'old school' gutsy sherry Hog with Malt from Springbank, and a real whisky-buffs style of Malt which may be a little intimidating to the inexperienced, so best sipped slow and long !!!

. . . a broad grey area of whisky production which includes additional-maturation, double-maturation, secondary-maturation, 'finishing, 'ACE'ing' and any other style of cask-swap designed to add flavour to whisky. I discuss it (a little) in this Vlog !

. . . a well-presented malt which shows all the benefits of 46% vol, natural colour and non chill-filtration.

. . . after a less than compelling start this really settles down in the glass as a very decent malt experience.
