The Asturians, in the midst of their recent move to an apartment in the same Plaza de los Frutos. Benigna and Manolita take turns caring for baby Félix, the son of Marta Novoa, who is trying to close an advertising deal with the new weekly magazine *España Siete Días*, directed by Ernesto Ortega. In the newsroom, we find Llanos, Teresa — Quintero’s wife — and Lalo. Javier, the son of the Ortega couple, returns home to the joy of Matilde, Ernesto’s wife. Durán discovers his father’s name in a letter left to him by his late mother: Ricardo Osuna, a journalist like himself. María lives in Miami with her boyfriend, Rubén Salazar, a film and television producer, although not everything is as it seems. Durán contacts Ortega, since he knew his father, and Ortega confirms that Ricardo Osuna committed suicide.
