New series. The actress spends another summer in Britain's most westerly county, meeting the people who play a large role in its communities. She begins in her favourite part of Cornwall with ferryman Nick Bailey, who takes her on a tour of the Helford River, and visits a seal sanctuary, where the time has come to release the last of the rescued seal pups back into the wild. She also learns some extreme gardening tips for life in a subtropical paradise, and meets dairy farmer and ice-cream maker Toby Roskilly

The actress meets farmer Sam Williams as he shows a group of intrepid tourists the art of coasteering - a mixture of swimming, climbing, scrambling and traversing the coastline - and takes to the water for a training exercise with the crew of the Padstow RNLI, a boat trip she won't forget in a hurry. She also drops in on Darren Dickey, head gardener at the sub-tropical Trebah Gardens in Falmouth, as he prepares for the annual hydrangea harvest

The actress finds out about life on a cider farm and helps Toby Roskilly produce a new flavour of ice-cream on the Lizard Peninsula, while Pip, the guardian to one of Cornwall's oldest country estates, asks his family to assist in a spot of hedge construction

Caroline Quentin travels around the picturesque towns and villages of Cornwall. This week, Caroline drops in on Sam and Georgie at Healey's Cornish Cyder Farm.

Caroline visits Godolphin House, and has a painting lesson with Newlyn artist Glyn Macey. In Port Isaac, fisherman Callum Greenhalgh has a delivery for the lobster hatchery.

This week Caroline gets in a festive mood as she opens the Newlyn Fish Festival and meets the people at the heart of one of Cornwall’s largest fishing communities. Local fishmonger Ian Pilkington puts his skills to the test in the Cornish Fishmonger of the Year Competition and sisters Lucy and Tor, set about showcasing some of the best produce Cornwall has to offer.

This week local artist Glyn Macey’s summer of studies culminate in a beautiful painting of Porthcurno Beach. It’s all glamour and good will as the Fowey Carnival waves farewell to Elaine and her carnival queens. Caroline takes to the water for a kayaking lesson before catching up with old friends Jemma and Simon at one of their famous feast evenings at their picturesque cliff-top café.

This week Port Isaac based baker Sarah Coates swaps her baking tins for a wetsuit as she makes the final preparations for the annual charity event the “Big Swim”. The Healey family take to the roads to pay homage to their famous Cornish relative. Caroline heads to Pentillie Castle and drops in on the Coryton family, who inherited and transformed this stately home for all to enjoy.

Caroline Quentin joins a tea party in the Cornish village of St Mawgan and goes crab fishing with Port Isaac lobster fisherman Callum Greenhalgh.

This week Caroline returns to Cornwall’s rugged north coast to support her friend Sam Williams in the Port Gaverne ‘Big Swim’ charity event. Down at the Cornwall Seal Sanctuary the county’s loneliest penguin is hoping to find love. The summer draws to a close at Healy’s Cyder Farm as Sam and Georgie begin their first apple harvest together.
