Jacques Mesrine is one of the greatest figures of French banditry. Thanks to his ability to change his face, "public enemy number 1" has played all the police. Wanted in France, Canada and even by the FBI in the United States, he managed no less than four escapes, punctuated by epic escapes, until his tragic end under police bullets on November 2, 1979. He has already to his credit numerous robberies, kidnappings and two escapes in Canada in 1969 and 1972 when he returned to France in 1973. He was arrested there on March 8, after multiple robberies in the company of Michel Ardouin, known as "Porte-Avion", who is going back for us on the contract of honour he had signed with Mesrine.
