Amélie Florot, a Parisian lawyer, is found drowned in the Sainte Agathe fountain, a historic pilgrimage site of the famous Morvan's nurses. Originally from the region, the young woman had not been back for 25 years. For the two investigators, Maud Perrin, lieutenant of gendarmerie and daughter of organic breeder of the region and Julien Demarcy, arrived in reinforcement of Dijon, the mystery thickens when they discover that Charlotte Florot, the grandmother of the victim ... died drowned in the same place 80 years ago! Family curse or macabre coincidence? To clarify this case, the investigators plunge into the heart of a rivalry between two local families, the Sénéchal and Florot for several decades.
