Shaggy & Scooby are on the run! After Velma wins a contest for the best invention (a robotic dog) the gang gets to travel to Tokyo, Japan. When a mystical person zaps a pizza with a growing spell and Shaggy eats it! Shaggy starts to grow whenever he goes to sleep and he starts eating everything in sight. Now the gang are running around Tokyo trying to get away from the police who want to put Shaggy in jail.

The cat creature appears during the show and while Fred, Daphne, Shaggy and Velma go fight the creature, Scooby protects the 6 pups and the mother. When they (as well as Velma, Daphne, & Fred) are invited to join him on a trip back to his home, Antarctica, they find that an ice ghost is haunting the way station there. He even has pushed the head scientist there into the ice. Velma is baffled by the increasing amount of suspects but eventually figures out who the villain is.
