Fashion photographer Uzaki Tachibana (Kana Kurashina) is in the limelight for her unique sense of colour. She is on the verge of reaching the pinnacle of the fashion photography world, with the support of her friends and colleagues, including Makigami (Kenichi Takito), the editor-in-chief of a famous luxury fashion magazine, Ippei (Yuki Morinaga), a photography assistant, and Junko (Yuko Natori), the chief make-up artist. Just then, however, a serious illness strikes Kaizaki.

視野の中心部がぼける症状を覚えた海咲（倉科カナ）は、眼科の権威である大学病院の医師・朝倉（要潤）の精密検査を受診して、錐体ジストロフィーという診断を受ける。それは視力だけでなく色覚機能も低下していく可能性のある難病だという。茫然自失で電話にも出ない海咲を心配して巻上（滝藤賢一）が自宅に閉じこもった彼女を訪ねてくるが、その数日後、海咲に非情な通告が言い渡される。
