A thriller film serial, The Twenty-Nine Steps, begins starring Les as Richard Pranny , a hero whose name is the least of his problems. Frank Bough has a rough time on Holiday 88 and Joe sings a medley of rock hits. Finally, a visit to 'Chez Bullseye' for a unique glimpse inside the Jim Bowen household.

The comedy adventure serial with Richard Pranny , The Twenty-Nine Steps, continues. Les is joined by guest star Joe Longthorne and the popular Martin P. Daniels.

Jeffrey Holland and Bella Emberg join Les with a helping of Yorkshire dialect, Les impersonates Roger Cook who has difficulty entering his own home, the yuppies are back at the Pig and Filofax, and a mysterious fortune-teller could help Richard Pranny discover the secret of The Twenty-Nine Steps. Joe Longthorne and Mark Walker add their talents to the proceedings in another fun-packed show.

Les and Joe give Opportunity Knocks 1987 winners Rosser and Davies a run for their money. Lisa finds that her husband has become somewhat alien and far too nice. And there's more comedy adventure in The Twenty-Nine Steps. Martin performs a unique card trick and special guest Joe Longthorne concentrates on impressions of famous women singers including his hugely popular take-off of Shirley Bassey.

In tonight's show Les shows his impressionist versatility when the audience calls out for personalities he should impersonate. He is joined by the hugely popular actor Gorden Kaye when they join forces as the Two Renes. Joe Longthorne and Mark Walker , as always, add their considerable support to this fast-moving comedy show.

Les plays a despatch rider who works at 'Funky Bikers' - deliveries worldwide and also to Liverpool. Bill and Ben recreate their early days with subtitles, and there's more gripping adventure and comedy in the serial The Twenty-Nine Steps.

Joe Longthorne joins in a hilarious send-up of the popular group A-ha. Jim Bowen makes a second appearance - this time far removed from Bullseye. And in the penultimate episode of The Twenty-Nine Steps Richard Pranny arrives at the Hotel Glenhoddle for a mysterious night.

Joe Longthorne impresses with some great songs from popular American entertainers, Les plays six of the most popular characters from Coronation Street and the adventures of the The Twenty-Nine Steps draw to an end. Will Richard Pranny eventually escape from both villains and the police? Martin P. Daniels adds a magical touch as he attempts to find a hidden cheque.
