I'm proud to present, my first successful outdoor MRE review. Filmed with a daytime & nighttime camera in Central Florida prairie far out in nature - with 100% real and unplanned nature ambience. Featuring a range of birds, a friendly deer, and some coyotes in the distance at night, it really did bring some beautiful dynamic, along with the crisp sound of that campfire. There's no better MRE to introduce all of this than with a Lithuanian Ration. Such a well put together and effective pack of shelf stable food, with dual heating capability & highly palatable food that will never let you down. Tried and true for an outing in just about any climate or terrain.

My first review with a new HD camera and introducing an incredible variety of old U.S. rations up for review. This FPA review is not only an exciting look at an extremely uncommon ration, but also one that has some beautifully preserved components. The Food Packet Assault is the predecessor to the MCI and LRP (Meal, Combat, Individual) (Food Packet, Long Range Patrol) and was essentially a K Ration of the 1950's. A fascinating and transitional ration, a rare treat - true military food art. PS - I didn't realize until long after the shoot that those water purification tablets were missing from the ration.

The newest Canadian IMP is lighter in weight, yet packs in just as many calories as ever. This Pulled Pork, menu #12 is absolutely fantastic. With 39 grams of protein to the main course, it's very sustaining and truly delectable in it's quality. Gotta say, this is a menu worth looking for! Currently editing an exciting review of a never before filmed US survival ration from 1957. So stay tuned for that. The BBQ Rib Patty MRE was arguably the greatest menu taken out of service in recent years, and was replaced by Chicken Burrito Bowl. This thing typically sells for around $30 these days, and sometimes more than that. With a main course that so closely resembles a McRib, it really gave soldiers a taste of home. In remembrance of the fallen on this day, I felt this menu was perfect to review. Those fallen soldiers are gone, but not forgotten. Still in production is my 1957 Ration, Survival, Individual - along with a 2021 Danish 24hr ration, a 1970's Coast Guard Approved Survival Ration, 1945 K Ration Dinner, and a case of 1969 MCIs. June is going to be a great month if all goes as planned. The 1957 RSI ended up becoming a double survival ration review, and some restoration work as well. A true shelf stable food journey, this incredibly advanced ration used by British recon in Burma 76 years ago truly stood the test of time. A rare look at what is pretty much the British K Ration - and easily the most innovative and pioneering of individual rations for WW2.

With authentic fresh wrapped tamales, delectable cold refried beans, corn flake cereal with a carton of milk, and somewhat basic, yet bold coffee, this 24 hour ration from Honduras was a real treat!
