It's two-player day which means Nolan North and Troy Baker are playing the classic and somewhat improved 1988 sequel Double Dragon II: The Revenge. Oh, it's not all jump kicks and uppercuts folks. Also, for some unknown reason, there's a discussion on the what the best Christmas Movie of all time should be and of course, like the great actors they are, dive into the motivation of what makes two brother's punch their way through the apocalypse. Ninja Gaiden utterly breaks Nolan North and Troy Baker. You're probably thinking it's the one level with the flying ninjas or the final boss fight. Nope. It's Act 1-1. That's right, almost 30 minutes of utter failure is here for your enjoyment. Watch as the mear sight of ninja dogs makes Nolan shriek in fear, while the logic puzzle of why there are so many storefronts with sales drives Troy to near madness. Let's not sugar coat the situation. It's dire. Nolan North and Troy Baker foolishly attempt to play the NES version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. A game that, despite its cool cover art, is punishing to anyone who attempts to understand it's random manhole entrances and Shredder tanks that run you over and over again. Nolan and Troy hide their pain with stories of working on the TMNT animated film and the great pizza topping debate of 2018. Out of frustration and probably humiliation they jump to the Arcade version of TMNT which goes well until Nolan breaks the controller. Oh boy... Let's Play!

Nolan North and Troy Baker go back to 1978 and play the Atari classic, Space Invaders. Is the gameplay exciting? Not really. But if you stick around you could be entranced by random stories about why Red Dawn is actually a training video and a vocal reenactment of Barry White's first sexual experience. You only think you know what's going to happen in this video. Only 10% of this episode is actually about Space Invaders. The other 90% was randomly generated from the minds of Nolan and Troy. Nolan North and Troy Baker punch, kick and die (often) while playing the incredibly difficult 1991 Battletoads on NES. Look, folks, this one's on you. Many of you out there suggested Nolan and Troy play Battletoads. Knowing very well the outcome would likely be like watching a cat chase a laser pointer. Sure we'll laugh when Troy serenades Nolan's gameplay with All-4-One's hit classic "I Swear." We'll chuckle as Nolan loses it when a bird cuts his rope a la Episode 1's Spider-man. In 1988 NES released a version of the arcade hit Paperboy. A story of a young man delivering newspapers to a neighborhood full of Grim Reapers, angry dogs, tornadoes, and an obstacle course!?
