Professor Balthazar is an extraordinary inventor who can invent almost any technical gadget. He invents a pair of special shoes for Florian the postman which allows him to walk for miles every day. Leopold the athlete also gets a pair of shoes so he can master the high jump. Albert the fisherman receive a shoe that will help him catch fish. Tony the bird receives a pair of shoes that will keep his feet warm in the winter. In return his friends help him when he must stay at the hospital
