For this first stage, the pairs, just off the plane, have the surprise to start the race in a small typical Sri Lankan port. It is in the middle of fishermen and their nets that they will cross an arm of the sea with a strong current. This stage is also the opportunity to live unique experiences during the evenings at the inhabitant's house. The black flag closes the stage and sets the tone of this season.

For this second stage of the adventure, the candidates will discover the ancient royal capital of Sri Lanka: Sigirîya, also called The Lion Rock. One pair will win an exceptional bonus: a helicopter flight over this masterful site. This stage will reserve for the teams multiple surprise missions. As soon as the stage starts, they will have to retrieve their race instructions from a block of ice. The participants will have to use their imagination to melt it as quickly as possible. The pairs will test a brand new means of locomotion by encountering the no-car sign. And this time, speed is not an option.

This stage is placed under the sign of the famous Ceylon tea, the specialty of the island. As soon as the race starts, the teams have to transport a maximum of tea in a bowl by hitchhiking through the winding roads. During this 3rd stage, the pairs discover the mountains of Sri-Lanka and go deeper into the heart of the island. And at an altitude of more than 2000 meters, three teams compete in an immunity challenge in the grandiose setting of the most beautiful tea plantation. Rivalry and nerves are the order of the day in the mists of the small mountain resort of Nuwara Eliya.

Cette 4e étape démarrera sur les plages sauvages du sud de l’île, où le fameux petit-déjeuner surprise attendra les candidats. Les équipes devront avoir le cœur bien accroché pour avaler les spécialités peu ragoutantes du Sri Lanka au petit matin.
Le panneau voiture interdite conduira les équipes dans le plus beau parc du Sri Lanka, la réserve d’éléphants du Parc National d’Uda Walawe. Tout en effectuant leur mission, les binômes seront émerveillés de voir, de si près, le roi de la jungle.
Avec le retour du drapeau rouge, ses stratégies et alliances, l’étau se resserre et les équipes deviendront de plus en plus compétitrices. L’arrivée à Kitulgala verra naître une rivalité entre 2 binômes que tout oppose…

La dernière étape sera composée de 3 sprints intermédiaires pendant lesquels les 2 équipes tenteront de gagner des secondes d’avance pour le départ du sprint final. Les duos de choc finalistes pourront ainsi remporter jusqu’à 90 secondes d’avance ; un temps qui pourrait s’avérer primordial pour les 2 équipes qui sont au coude-à-coude.
