Greg and Willie head to the wild West Coast in search of big red stags and rutting chamois bucks. When all looks to be lost, the guys manage to pull off the impossible.

Willie is joined by Emil's flatmate-come-girlfriend Shay on an adventure into the historic Greenstone Valley.

Continuing with Shay's trip in the Greenstone, the team now head down to the valley floor in the hope of laying eyes on a good fallow buck. Can they pull it all together in the dying moments of the trip?

Willie embarks on a farewell trip with Pommie mate Alfie before he travels back home to England. Amidst the banter, they work hard to try secure Alfie his first mountain red stag but conditions prove testing.

The crew set off on a massive alpine undertaking from Aoraki/Mt Cook village, bagging a swag of 3,000 metre peaks before hunting their way out the inhospitable and rarely ventured Cook River on the West Coast.

Opting for the trucks over the legs, the team take on some rugged mountain roads for a high 4WD crossing, visiting historic huts with some hunting thrown in for good measure.

Embarking on their new journey of parenthood, Willie and Ash juggle hunting ambitions around family commitments and attempt to achieve some incredible feats in very small windows of time.

The crew head north for the Kaweka Sika roar. Willie goes walkabout with old school friend Tom, while Greg and Fi are joined by Dave from Ironman on a big stag stakeout.

Fiona joins Greg on a South Westland tahr and chamois rut trip in search of old horns and a shaggy winter tahr skin for the floor. Easier said than done...

The mums and dads take to the water to harvest some hard earnt ducks during the waterfowl season. When things turn competitive the mums call in help from Dame Lynda Topp.
