Mike Finnegan's Garage we wrap up my latest project while giving you priceless tips for finishing your project car. I turned my 1957 Chevrolet 210 Wagon into a Gasser so that I can give it away to someone special. Anyway, this one is about the 1998 GMC Sierra work truck that Joe and I put together last October in preparation for its debut for the annual SEMA Show. While the truck ran and drove into the show and looked great, it was far from really being finished and road-ready. Before we could have real fun behind the wheel we had to get the transmission tuning for the Gearstar Level IV 6L90 worked out. That required a few hours of time spent with Jeff Harris of Mo's Speed Shop in Dallas, Georgia. Jeff plugged his laptop into the OBDII port of the truck and was able to manipulate the tune so that the truck would shift properly so we could drive at more than 1/4 throttle. While we haven't strapped the shop truck down to the dyno rollers to see how much power it makes, we did road test it and take it to our local 1/8 mile dragstrip to help donate toys for local kids who didn't have much for Christmas. This time we are getting ready for Sick Week 2025, which happens in less than 8 days from now. We've accomplished a lot in the ol garage during the last 60 days and are confident we'll be ready for one of the best events of the season. All we need now is a Hemi and a few days to test the car, which we hope are January 25-27 at South Georgia Motorsports Park. The event officially begins on January 27 and runs until February 2nd, 2025.

We are just days away from the start of Sick Week 2025 and the car is fighting us. Starting with a shell weeks earlier we began putting Blasphemi back together to ready her for competition and we are running out of time to finish the job. On the bright side, one of the upcoming sponsors of our Sick Week 2025 movie, B&P Manufacturing, delivered a custom-build trailer that is one-of-a-kind and will make our road trip so much better!

The contest to win my 1957 Chevy G-Wagon is over but this video covers the day the winner picked up the car and immediately tried to burn the tires off of it. lol. You're gonna love it. We just wrapped up our Sick Week adventure, which we are editing now, and are set to work on my 1961 Cadillac Coupe DeVille. We'll have more content on that bad girl real soon.

In the middle of Sick week 2025, a road-tripping drag racing event, I decided that Blasphemi really needed to be tuned on a chassis dyno. So, in the middle of the event, we stopped by Kevin Smith's KSR Performance in Gainesville, Florida, to strap the car to his Dynojet and measure the power output of the 528ci Hemi. We did this because the day before, we noticed our Holley Dominator EFI system adding nearly 300 lb/hr of additional fuel to the base fuel map even though we weren't asking it to do so. Luckily, Pete Harrell, owner of Harrel Engine and Dyno, the shop that built the Hemi was onhand to dissect the data we were looking at and to make the calls on how to adjust the tune. What we discovered on the dyno was that Cylinder number 5 was running lean, even though the average of all the cylinders were not. By adding fuel to just that cylinder, were able to lower its Exhaust Gas Temperature and subsequently the EFI system stopped adding so much extra fuel to every cylinder of the engi

Finnegan's Garage has that old school Roadkill vibe. We drug this '60 Elco out of the woods, replaced the brakes, tires, clutch and radiator, cleaned up the rat turds and managed to drive it home!

I'm happy to report that we are back to work on my 1961 Cadillac Coupe DeVille. Unfortunately, to prevent future disasters involving rust between the floor and chassis, I had to separate the two pieces. Once I did that it just felt right to build a completely new floor to gain some much-needed head room in the car.

I traded a holy 1960 Chevrolet El Camino, the same car I drug out of the woods a few weeks ago, for a 1986 Cadillac Brougham four-door that rides on air bags. After doing donuts and burnouts I cleaned it up, fixed some wiring, and am now ready to swap the Caddy for the next car. It could be yours if I like your trade offer.

Mike Finnegan's Garage was supposed to be about driving a a low-mile Third Gen Camaro home from Valdosta, Georgia but it didn't quite work out that way. Instead of blasting up I-75 with the radio cranked and my beard in the wind, Joe and I spent our time blasting brake parts cleaner through fuel injectors in an effort to fix a persistent misfire in the engine of the next FSM giveaway car. This is the day I snagged several cars from the Motor Trend fleet of show vehicles. These are the projects we busted our asses on, made memories behind the wheel of, and changed the path of our lives with. The Vette Kart, Momsoon, and Greta the Pinto are all coming home. Later on, I'll show you even more. This episode is about getting them running and road tripping the Vette Kart four hours home from Derek Bieri's shop in Tennessee. We got stopped by the cops, ran out of gas and had a damn good time.

I bought the Faster With Finnegan Ford Pinto Station Wagon, had it shipped to Vice Grip Garage world headquarters, and then towed to David Newbwrn’s house. Now it’s time to see if it will drive home. This is episode 348 of Finnegan’s Garage.

I filmed Episode 349 shortly after completing Sick Week 2025, a five day long drag and drive event where we road tripped and raced my 1955 Chevy Bel Air gasser. We struggled to run fast at that event but in this video you'll see we have turned a corner with my favorite hot rod. The car now runs hard and fast and is still in one piece! Check it out.

Can you believe this the 350th episode of Finnegan's Garage. It's bananas, especially because I have two legends with me; David Freiburger, my co-host on Roadkill, and Steve Brule, one of my best friends and a legendary dyno operator and tuner. Together, we are going to try and figure out what vehicle I should trade the 1940 Chevrolet Coupe that I got from Derek Bieri of Vice Grip Garage for.

For the 352nd Episode of Finnegan's Garage we uncover my carbon fiber jet boat, dust it off, install the rebuilt 632ci Big Block Chevy, and got it running. Then we chased gremlins in the electrical system until finally, the boat ripped across my local lake. We made 11 passes and she's still running perfectly!

Blasphemi is super fast now and in Episode 353 of Finnegan's Garage you're gonna see us win our first event in years! We went to Sick The Mag's Sick at the Rock event and entered into the Gasser and Stick Shift categories and had the fastest times of everyone else on the property. Episode 355 of Finnegan's Garage features Derek Bieri of Vice Grip Garage as we finish trading cars and trucks. We also wrench on my wife's twin-turbo LS-swapped jet boat in the quest for a more impressive rooster tail that you can probably see from space.

Episode 356 of Finnegan's Garage is all about making my 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air aka Blasphemi, a better driving street car. In particular, I wanted to find ways to better take advantage of the self-tuning "closed loop" feature of the Holley Dominator EFI. As unbelievable as it may sound, stuffing a rubber football into one of the ports of my Hilborn throttlebody was the key to getting the car to act right.

Episode 357 of Finnegan's Garage may well be the best one yet. Freiburger is here and we attempt to drive the Rotsun, my 1971 Datsun 240Z from California to Alabama to visit an abandoned speed shop. Along the way we race down an abandon drag strip, blow stuff up, swap a bigger, badder turbo onto the Rotsun and laugh our assess off. Episode 358 of Finnegan's Garage is super fun right up until the end where after winning the Stick Shift and Gasser classes at Sick The Mag's Sick on the Green event, the Hemi broke a connecting rod. On the bright side, we did win some money so as usual, that cash goes right back into fixing Blasphemi. Again. lol.

Episode 359 of Mike Finnegan's Garage is all about going drag boat racing and winning. It wasn't easy, though, because when we unloaded my jet boat from the trailer we found the bottom of the hull was broken. It took all night but we were able to patch the bottom of the hull using fiberglass and resin and then proceeded to win the race! Check out how we fixed my 1,200 hp jet boat and went fast as hell.

Episode 361 of Finnegan's Garage is gonna take us out of the ol garage and on the road for a ridiculous vehicle rescue and road trip. This 1978 Dodge Tradesman Motorhome has been parked next to a dilapidated house for a long time and somehow we got it running well enough to drive 800 miles from Georgia to Philadelphia. Tony bought it, hit me up to roll out together, and we hit the road in search of great pizza and even better times.

Episode 362 of Finnegan's Garage is full of super nerd engine tuning information. We used a Racepak IQ3 data-logging dashboard to record the information from 10 different O2 sensors mounted in our headers to find out how each individual cylinder of the 632ci Big Block Chevy was running. We then used the info to make adjustments to a pair of Holley Gen 3 1,250cfm Dominator carburetors mounted atop a tunnel ram intake manifold. The results were stunning!

Episode 363 of Finnegan's Garage is all about re-doing the roll cage in my 1961 Cadillac Coupe DeVille, which is a mod I didn't know I needed to make.

This is our 364th episode and this time on Finnegan's Garage we hang out with Craig Hewett of B&P Manufacturing and together we upgrade our drag and drive event trailer to get it ready for Hot Rod Drag Week 2025. The trailer received electric brakes and a new tongue storage box to keep our Honda EU2000i generator safe from thieves.

My friend and fellow YouTuber Jimmy Dale showed up and took my turbocharged 1971 Datsun 240Z on a road trip. Of course it overheated as soon as he was stuck in bumper-to-bumper Atlanta traffic. Meanwhile, I was back in my garage working on my 1976 Chevrolet C10 short bed truck, which needed a pair of new Black Widow Widowmaker mufflers installed.

Hot Rod Drag Week is the pinnacle of "drag and drive" racing. It was the first event of it's kind and it's proven over its 20 year history to be one of the toughest weeklong racing events to complete. I'm proud to say that we indeed drove every inch of the 800 mile route, stopped at every checkpoint, and made passes down all four drag strips. We also did an untold number of mind-bending, chassis-twisting, back breaking wheelies. This video is presented by Holley Performance. Check it out.

Last time on Finnegan's Garage we journeyed from Georgia to Maryland to complete in Hot Rod Drag Week. The problem was that Blasphemi started doing huge wheelies and although we tried nearly every trick in the book, the wheelies were difficult to control. In this video we manage to continue the journey and ultimately finish Drag Week, which is a feat in itself especially when you consider how much damage the wheelies did to the front suspension.
