It's a few weeks since the finale of the Hawkeye series on Disney+ and now that I've awoken from my Holiday slumber, it's time to really dig into the Captain America musical and see all the real legitimate Broadway magic! This was a real musical, folks. Written by Hairspray's Marc Shaiman and Scott Witmann. Sort of amazing the real musical magic that was made on this shoestring budget.

Today I set out to be a vacation hero. A Magic Kingdom ride master. It’s never been more stressful to go on a WDW vacation. You’ve got to ride it all. Eat it all. See it all. There is something special about Disney Channel cartoons being made into Costume Characters, but the Disney Live! production of Phineas & Ferb may be one of the most unhinged things I've ever seen.

Nothing gives me more joy than community theatre making magic out of nothing, and one of the best places to look for that is Shrek, a musical with huge budget gimmicks that high school & community theaters are left to figure out a reasonable solution. Theatre is so scrappy and crafty, and all these people made it work and told a really rad story!
