Steve takes Deadly back in time to discover the deadliest animals that ever walked the earth - the dinosaurs. Studying fossilized remains at London's Natural History Museum is just the start. Steve sees this prehistoric world brought to life in a computer-generated show down of deadly dinos. Starting with humongous herbivores that were the size of two articulated lorries, Steve then shows us their lethal defenses, before meeting the most terrifying dinos in the Jurassic pack - the carnivorous predators. Steve also reveals how our modern day animals measure up to dino deadliness.

This special Deadly Pole to Pole episode has got serious bite - it's all about sharks. Steve travels the globe to swim with these misunderstood predators and prove they are not the brutish killers many people believe. In the Bahamas, Steve uses time-slice cameras to see what makes a shark's bite so deadly, but there is more to these perfect predators than jaws. Steve investigates the highly-honed superpowers of the hammerhead shark. Finally, Steve puts his theory that sharks are not mindless killers to the ultimate test. In Hawaii, he swims with the oceanic whitetip, a shark with a man-eating reputation, before heading to Mexico to dive outside the cage with the most feared shark on the planet, the great white.
