A new pilot, Dima, joins the Aeronaut Club—but his very first flight ends in disaster when he ignores flight instructions, drawing the wrath of seasoned pilot Oksana. Club manager Tomilin is ready to fire him, but Dima’s passengers—a famous blogger and his girlfriend—unexpectedly come to his defense. Meanwhile, Oksana discovers that her own passenger, Sergey, is terrified of heights. A mid-flight panic forces an emergency landing in a country garden—right on a prized patch of celery. The furious landowner, drunk and armed, opens fire. But as the balloon escapes back into the sky, Sergey realizes his fear has vanished.

To help a nervous passenger pop the question, Dima fakes a balloon emergency. Believing they're about to die, the couple finally confesses their love — and gets engaged. Oksana, as usual, isn't impressed and accuses Dima of another reckless stunt. His next flight brings an energetic elderly lady, full of excitement. But the reason for her trip is touching — her late husband's final wish was to scatter his ashes in the sky. The release overwhelms her, and she collapses. Dima revives her with mouth-to-mouth. When Oksana starts criticizing him again, he reminds her of her own wild landing in a celery field.

Tomilin introduces a potential buyer for the Aeronaut Club and tells Dima to do whatever the VIP wants. But when the man demands an in-air hookup with his girlfriend, Dima firmly refuses. Shockingly, Tomilin backs him up and kicks the guy out, tossing the money in his face. Meanwhile, the tension between Dima and Oksana starts to melt into something warmer. Enter Veronika — a charming journalist here to film a report. During the flight, she flirts with Dima, driving her cameraman (secretly in love with her) into a jealous rage. After landing, he tries to fight Dima and ends up with a bloody nose. But the report turns out great… and Veronika soon returns — this time, not for work. Oksana watches from a distance, jealousy in her eyes.

Porfiriy wants to propose in the air — and asks Dima to fake a balloon emergency again. But Dima refuses. Ironically, a real malfunction occurs mid-flight, nearly ending in disaster. Oksana, unaware of the full story, demands Dima's dismissal — but later admits she was wrong. To settle an ongoing bet, Dima and Oksana take off together just as a storm approaches. Facing the sky and wind side by side, they rediscover each other. The flight becomes something more — a turning point. Meanwhile, Tomilin finally secures a buyer for the club, but the deal falls through — once again because of Dima. Furious, Tomilin fires him. Without hesitation, Oksana quits too. They both agree: the bet ends in a draw. And then, Dima kisses her — with a loud, heartfelt apology.
