Benny Bax zet zijn kruistocht door Vlaanderen verder. In 'De Smaakpolitie' heeft hij maar één doel: zorgen dat Vlaanderen veilig en lekker kan eten, zowel buitenshuis als thuis in de eigen keuken. Hij trekt iedere week onaangekondigd naar enkele restaurants met de vraag om in de keuken te mogen rondkijken. Op die manier kan hij vaststellen hoe het er met de hygiëne en de voedselveiligheid is gesteld. Tijdens zijn controles krijgt Benny te maken met vuile pannen, schimmels en... hardleerse uitbaters, maar daar laat hij zich niet door afschrikken!
