Steam in the Winter treats you to winter steam railroading on three railroads! Enjoy stunning mountain scenery in the mountains of Utah on the Heber Valley Railroad, winter on the high desert on the fantastically preserved Nevada Northern Railroad, and heavy, mainline railroading on the Ohio Central System. These re-created freight trains evoke memories of regular service steam long ago. Features: Enjoy 4-8-4 #6325 as she storms along the Ohio Central mainline. Thrill to the mountain vistas and 2-8-0 #618 on the Heber Valley. Step back in time as 2-8-0 #98 re-creates a mine run on the Nevada Northern.

This video includes the incredible Cumbres & Toltec in New Mexico and Colorado with 2-8-2’s #484 & 487, Nickel Plate Road 2-8-2 #587 pulling the Indiana State Fair train, Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum 2-8-0 #610 pulling passenger trains in Chattanooga, Eureka & Palisade 4-4-0 #4, built in 1875, running on Colorado’s stunning Durango & Silverton, Ohio Central 4-6-2 #1293 pulling a passenger train through Ohio’s Amish Country, and Norfolk & Western 4-8-4 #611 roaring through Ohio.
