In this all new Skid Factory build Woody and Al start on a new project involving one of Australia's own turbo 6 cylinder 4 litre engines.

In this episode Al and Woody continue working on their Bedford van, trying to figure out how to fit the massive 4 litre turbocharged Barra engine into the tiny engine bay.

Work continues on the Barra conversion on the Bedford Van

Strap in tight for over half an hour of Skid Factory goodness while Woody and Al get into the fiddly tasks of sorting out the fuel tank with a new high pressure EFI pump and plan out the intake manifold for the Barra powered Bedford Van.

It's Turbo Time on The Skid Factory, this week Al and Woody work out how to fit a slightly-too-big turbo onto their Barra Powered Bedford. Luckily a local wreckers is available to help with parts..

Woody and Al get started on the intercooler system, radiator and air con condensor which requires a good amount of fabrication to make it all fit the old Barra Powered Bedford.

The Bedford is getting a freshly made exhaust system to help it's Turbo 6 Cylinder engine get rid of the used up boost out the back of the van.

Al and Woody finish the custom intake manifold they made to get the giant turbo 6 Barra engine to fit into the Bedford Van. Next it's cooling and plumbing!

Woody and Al aren't having much luck with wreckers lately... thankfully a whole catalog of 'fluid transfer parts' have arrived at The Skid Factory ready to be installed onto the Turbo Bedford Van

There's a few fiddly bits of fabrication to get done on the Barra powered Bedford.... and some exciting news, TSF are coming to the Northern Hemisphere!

We're back! Work is continuing on the Barra Powered Bedford with a reconditioned diff, new Wheels and tyres, custom drive belt idler and the cooling system finalised!

This time on The Skid Factory Al and Woody mount the FG Ford Falcon accelerator pedal, brake pedal and brake booster.

Today on The Skid Factory, Woody and Al make up some custom brake lines, get the steering sorted and modify the rear shock mounts on the diff.

Today on The Skid Factory, Al is getting stuck into wiring up a new Plug-in Haltech ECU for the Barra Powered Bedford while Woody makes up some customised battery cables.

The Bedford gets a few finishing touches before the Haltech ECU is plugged in for the last time. Al and Woody attempt to start the car, and hopefully - skid it!
