Rachael Dadd is a brilliant contemporary folk artist who spent time in This Is The Kit and released her new solo album Flux in November. Living half her time as a travelling musician in Japan, Rachael has used her experiences to develop her innovative song writing, which has seen her gain a reputation as a pioneering and thought provoking artist, unafraid to push the boundaries of folk and pop.

Isobel Campbell returns to the musical fray with a brand new album, There Is No Other, for 2020. Previously a member of Belle And Sebastian, Isobel has carved a successful solo career and also collaborated on 3 albums with Mark Lanegan. She makes her debut on The Quay Sessions to preview her new songs ahead of a UK tour.

Americana duo My Darling Clementine are husband and wife Michael Weston King & Lou Dalgleish. They bring their band to showcase original songs and covers taken from their recent Country Darkness album, interpreting the songs of Elvis Costello.

Iona is a multi-award winning folk singer. Together with cellist Ellen Gira and mandolin player Callum Morton-Teng, the trio perform reinterpretations of Appalachian ballads and American old-time tunes.

For the first time in over five years, King Creosote will be performing songs from his stunning From Scotland with Love album with his band. This is an exclusive preview before returning to the live arena for a string of shows around Scotland.

Piano man Billy Lockett has been championed by BBC Introducing. He honed his craft performing at open-mic nights and has swiftly grown a huge following. Pictish Trail is Isle Of Eigg resident Johnny Lynch. His last album, Future Echoes, was shortlisted for the Scottish Album Of The Year Award and he also runs his own DIY label Lost Map Records and the island’s Howlin’ Fling Festival. Pictish Trail’s live shows are always bold, wild, and kaleidoscopic affairs - expect the unexpected!

Snowgoose is the songwriting duo of guitarist Jim McCulloch and singer Anna Sheard. They’ll be previewing songs from new album The Making Of You, tracing a line through ‘60s West Coast psychedelia and early ‘70s folk-rock.

Ren Harvieu showcases her upcoming album Revel In The Drama, written and produced with Romeo Stodart of The Magic Numbers. Described as a brilliant and bolder take on her timeless pop classicism, this album follows up 2012’s hit album Through The Night and marks her welcome return to the UK music scene.

Rick Redbeard is an alt-folk singer-songwriter from the acclaimed Chemikal Underground stable. Singer with The Phantom Band, his debut solo album was nominated for the Scottish Album Of The Year Award and his style of folk balladry has drawn comparisons with Bonnie Prince Billy and Smog.

Roddy Hart shares performances from some of the best country and Americana artists from both sides of the Atlantic to play The Quay Sessions. Featuring The Shires, Sam Outlaw, The Wandering Hearts, Gretchen Peters, Ward Thomas, Jade Bird, Olivia Lane and Chris Stills.

Olivia Lane is a fast-rising star from Houston who takes her cue from Shania Twain and Taylor Swift. She relocated to country music capital Nashville to pursue her musical career and drops in to The Quay sessions during her UK tour.

Celtic-soul band Tide Lines showcase songs from their album Eye Of The Storm. They’re festival stalwarts from the Highlands and Islands who forge their traditional sound with a classic American influence.

The Wind and The Wave are American roots duo Dwight Baker and Patty Lynn, recently in the UK to support Stereophonics on their arena tour. They dropped in to the show to perform a stripped back set.
