March 2005, Dublin police receive a call stating that body parts are floating along the city’s Royal Canal. Gardai observe they belong a male yet the head and penis are missing. News of this horror shocks Dublin. After a long investigation, involving forensics and gumshoe police work, detectives finally discover the identity of the butchered body: Farah Noor. Detectives move to interview the Mulhalls. They bring the mother, father, and two daughters - Kathleen, John, Linda, and Charlotte respectively - into custody. All deny knowledge of Farah’s death. Linda and Charlotte’s trial is a media frenzy as its gory details are revealed to the court. Charlotte is found guilty of murder while provocation reduces Linda’s conviction to manslaughter.
