Captain Bob Oliver heads the Royal Princess to the US Virgin Islands and St Thomas on his last tour of duty after 46 years at sea. Downstairs on deck 6, Bob's officers have sprung a surprise farewell party on him. As his wife Sally looks on, he's unable to supress a tear. In the Princess Theatre, 12 backstage staff are hard at work as midnight strikes installing the set for the musical Encore.
