Chi Cheng competes in an underground snakefighting ring, but is forced to take on his fathers business. Wu Suo Wei is determined to change his life after his girlfriend Yue Yue broke up with him, and set up a stall as a business venture, but he runs into Chi Cheng. As Chi Cheng and Yue Yue appear together, Wu Suo Wei believes them to be a couple, and sets out on a plan to get back at his ex by getting involved with Chi Cheng.

After a successful business deal, Chi Cheng and Wu Suo Wei meet in the park. They hold hands for the first time, and feelings start to develop. After suffering an injury, Guo Cheng Yu seeks Jiang Xiao Shuai’s help in tending to his wounds, while hidden ties to gang activity are revealed.
In order to entice Chi Cheng, Wu Suo Wei pretends to be an intellectual and invites him to a concert, and the two grow closer in the dark theatre. Later on, Wu Suo Wei admits his confused feelings, and the two of them kiss.
