Off She Goes

I had little to no experience with gravel riding and really wanted to change that! In July 2022 packed up my motorcycle Loki and headed off to explore the southern parts of the Norwegian Trans Euro Trail. This is the beginning of 12 days of riding some of Norway's best motorcycle roads! In this episode, I ride from Stavanger to Røldal in the pouring rain. Still, it felt great to be back on the road!

It´s the 3rd of July, and I am on my way to the Norwegian TET! I got 12 days to travel these beautiful Norwegian roads, and my only company is my Yamaha Tenere 700 named Loki. In this episode I ride the stretch from Røldal to Hønefoss, crossing Haukelifjell.

July 5th 2022 - the adventure continues! In this episode I ride from Hønefoss to Kirkenær, where I wild camp for the night. It is another day mostly raining, but it makes the sunny and calm end of the day SO much better! I also get to ride my first short stretch on gravel with my Tenere 700 :)

July 6th 2022 - this is my first full day on gravel in Norway! To kick-start my TET adventure I meet up with Pål, the founder of Grustur i Øst and his buddy Ole-Henrik. We have a great day and I get a lot of tips and tricks for gravel riding! .. and learning new skills also means failing sometimes!

July 7th, 2022 - it is time to hit the first section on the Norwegian TET! In this episode, I ride a shorter stretch on gravel from Elverum to Forset - a full day in great weather for the first time during this trip.
