Making the Video (2002)

CMT headed to Los Angeles to capture the magic on the set of Reba McEntire's music video ""Somebody,"" for the CMT series Making the Video. Hosted by McEntire and video director Trey Fanjoy, viewers get a never-before-seen look into how they created ""Somebody."" The video's magical story line is set in one of Hollywood's landmark diners. McEntire portrays Cupid and reminds us how our lives are all connected and can be changed in an instant by people right under our noses. The special concludes with the complete video.

Tim McGraw hosts this look at the making of his new feature film Friday Night Lights. The film opens Friday, Oct. 8, and chronicles the story of the economically depressed town of Odessa, Texas and the hopes that they pin on their local high school football team, the Permian High Panthers. Based on the best-selling book, the film also stars Billy Bob Thornton, Lucas Black and Derek Luke.

Jimmy Buffett and Martina McBride recently invited CMT to the set of their music video, ""Trip Around the Sun,"" shot near Charleston, S.C. Viewers will get an intimate look at how the pair collaborates on the video production and will see exclusive interviews with the artists. Directed by Trey Fanjoy, the video showcases the early fall season on the Carolina coast and a cozy beachside gathering with Buffett, McBride and friends. Additional scenes feature Buffett's classic bi-plane and the singers as they cruise the hard-packed beaches.
