A reality game show set six months in to a zombie outbreak sees ten survivors from across the UK head to Monroe Shopping Village - a rescue point where the army were once based but had to abandon when it was overrun by zombies.They will have to work together to make this their base - securing shelter, safety and essential supplies for the whole group. The army are able to monitor them via satellite and radio - and set missions essential for their survival. Anyone still alive in 7 days will be rescued by army helicopter and taken to one of the global tropical quarantine areas. The survivors just need to avoid the zombies, but they're everywhere, highly infectious and the slightest touch will result in death.

The survival horror-themed game show continues as the group comes to terms with the past day's events. Two members are killed by zombies while out on a mission, and a freak electrical storm leaves the base flooded and in chaos. Later, some of the group try to find supplies to repair the damage, but three of them become trapped at the other side of the compound and their only chance of survival is to risk their lives one by one.
The remaining survivors struggle to deal with further deaths. Meanwhile, three strangers arrive at the compound searching for refuge, but fear, tension and paranoia put the entire group on edge.
