Hyena female Kaidi has given birth to two cubs, Kanzai and Khenzi, and young Kanzai quickly learns to watch out for his dominant sister. José from the Rhenen zoo visits a wildlife conservation project in Borneo, where she also gets inspiration to help solve Cindy’s climbing problem. Orangutan male Bako can spend hours digging in the sand, while his daughter Minggu and her mother Tjintah watch nervously to see what he’s uncovering. Plants have an ingenious way of fighting pests like aphids, by releasing scents that call in predatory ladybugs and ruthless parasitic wasps, which pierce their victims alive to lay their eggs inside. Meanwhile, female chevrotain Noodle is quite shy when she’s introduced to male Pincho. He helps her open up, but then something dramatic happens.
