Classic Game Room reviews SONIC UNLEASHED for PlayStation 3 also available for Xbox 360, Wii and PlayStation 2) from Sega released in 2008. Sonic Unleashed combines multiple gameplay styles to create an interesting mix of things for Sonic the Hedgehog to do. He races through hyper-fast "Sonic" style races to collect rings and special coins to progress the storyline (memorization is a must!). Sonic also transforms into a Were-Hedgehog at night to fight Dr. Eggman's army of robots with claws and special moves. The game plays like Sonic meets God of War meets Teen Wolf and it's cool but fails to recapture the thrill of Sonic from the Sega Genesis era.

Classic Game Room reviews RIDGE RACER 64 from Namco for the N64 released in 2000, a comprehensive version of Ridge Racer with lots of cars and tracks that should keep Ridge Racer fans on the N64 occupied. Slide around corners "drifting!" and attempt to stay in control whilst beating other cars on the track with Namco inspired rides like Pac-Man, Xevious and Mappy. Ridge Racer is a love it or hate it kind of game with EXTREME arcade racing style controls, fast paces music and really excitable announcers, YOU GOT A NEW RECORD!!!!

Classic Game Room reviews FAR CRY 3: BLOOD DRAGON for Xbox 360, also available for PlayStation 3 and PC! All hail the '80s action movies like Predator, The Terminator, Robocop, Tron, Rambo, Die Hard and The Karate Kid because it's Hot Shots Part Deux the video game, Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon! This parody of the post-nuclear war '80s vision of the future is a standalone downloadable game that plays like a smaller, sillier Far Cry 3. Basically, the designers used the same assets and made everything look like Tron. Enjoy an amazing musical score reminiscent of Aliens, The Terminator and Predator as well as Michael Biehn's hilarious acting, Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon is rad!

Classic Game Room reviews SUIKODEN TACTICS for PlayStation 2 from Konami released in 2005, a tactical turn-based strategy game with lots of characters and a heavy emphasis on elemental powers. Kyril and friends are out to stop Rune Cannons and fight the fish people in this massive, lengthy and complex turn-based JRPG with strategic gameplay similar to Fire Emblem, Final Fantasy Tactics, Vandal Hearts and Front Mission. Classic Game Room reviews G.I. JOE THE ATLANTIS FACTOR from Capcom for the NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) released in 1991, a side scrolling platformer where you play as G.I. Joe vs. Cobra!! The Joes battle Cobra Commander who discovers a way to raise the lost continent of Atlantis and somehow threaten the world with it. Play as Hawk, Duke, Road Block, Snake Eyes, Wet Suit and Storm Shadow (who is a Cobra...) to bring down Cobra and defeat their evil, lame-ass plans once again! Prepare for sloppy game play, generic levels design and impossible missions as Cobra actually hands the Joes their own ass for once. CGR review of G.I. Joe: The Atlantis Factor on NES shows GI Joe The Atlantis Factor gameplay in HD action on Nintendo!!!

Classic Game Room reviews THE ADVENTURES OF BATMAN AND ROBIN by Clockwork Tortoise, a side scrolling beat 'em up featuring Batman and Robin battling foes who escape Arkham Asylum! While this game is also available for Super Nintendo, the Sega Genesis version is different and known for its insane difficulty and amazing music score from composer Jesper Kyd. Rock the bass, prepare to die! This game MUST be played 2-player if you hope to survive the first level and even them you stand little chance of completing it. Batman and Robin shoot bad guys with ninja stars and punch and kick endless waves of enemies but take damage constantly. End bosses add insult to injury and only those looking for a serious challenge should take on Batman & Robin on Mega Drive. Classic Game Room reviews TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: OUT OF THE SHADOWS for Xbox 360, an action beat-em-up video game starring four wise cracking pizza eating turles with weapons!! TMNT heroes in a half shell, turtle power! From Red Fly Studio and Activision TMNT Out of the Shadows features predictable button mashing gameplay and combos as well as level up system, but choppy game play, dark visuals and bugs keep the game from being as good as it could have been. It's fun to watch the turtles beat up bad guys but that's about as good as it gets.
