The “Ca Cartoon” series broadcast on French Television station Canal+ shows “Warner Bros” classic Cartoon shorts between sequences featuring a Donkey called “George” and a Buzzard by the name of “Alfred” - they are Cartoon characters invented for and made famous by this show. In “Ca Cartoon” they appear in a mix of Live-Action and Animation with two 'human' co-stars. This short film features the Animated stars of “Ca Cartoon” - re-designed and in their own totally Animated 'special' seven minute Tex Avery-esque short. It was shown at Christmas 2006 on Canal+. For the special, the plot surrounds George and Alfreds' decision to enter a TV Talent Contest – along the same lines as “X Factor”. They are both irrationally convinced that their (as yet undiscovered/non-existent) singing talents will prove to be the path to stardom.
