A single father, on the verge of his 50s and the head of the Port Authority in Split, after years of dedicating himself to raising two daughters left in his care by his estranged wife, is trying to live "his life" again. After his older daughter Maja got married and his younger daughter Daria moved to a student dormitory, Blaž Živković, known as Živac, believes that "his five minutes" have come, that is, the time to find his soul mate.

Blaž Živković, known as Živac, is on edge. As a harbor captain and single father, he is not coming to terms with the new situation, but how can he return the child to his mother if the mother is in the witness protection program? As always, Špiro has a theory, which - as always - "squeaks" in practice. Can grandma Bjanka, the child of Cvič, offer a solution? Or the lovely cashier Ankica? Why is USKOK looking for a swashbuckling singer-songwriter from Split? Are Maja's diplomatic skills enough to sweep Daria's incident under the rug and return her to the student dormitory?

The new employee at the Port Authority is Elvis, a senior fender manager and a die-hard Torcida fan. Blaž's presentation at the Port Authority is "hacked" by Špira's dating app. For the first day of school, Ivona gets a shocker pen from Darija, Blaž gets his childhood diary from him, Ankica gets a tablet, and Špira gets a sparkler!

Špiro finds out who Ankica's crush is and decides to do something about it. In order to reduce the number of angry family members in the cramped house, Daria plans to move in with Grandma Bjanka, but it's not just Bjanka who is wondering about this, but her cat Bajdo too. Some of our eastern neighbors are looking for Maja in Split - who could it be but her abandoned and distressed husband? Blaž is fidgeting between all these situations like a ball in a pinball machine.

Blaž tries to find private accommodation for Darija in Split. Ankica, or as he calls her: our good fairy Ankica, has a seemingly saving solution to the problem. Maja tries to find a representative respondent for a survey about football fans, which becomes a complicated mission until Blaž recommends that she interview Elvis. Football hooligans are also the topic of a new computer game, which Špiro has taken for review.

Blaž's father comes to visit.

Grandma Bjanka flees to the Živkovic family's place to stay after a general extermination of her building, so Blaž is forced to seek temporary accommodation with Špiro. However, Špiro does not stand still: he sets up a "double date" for Blaž and himself with "two bad girls". However, Maja is convinced that Blaž's "girl" was recently a man, so she puts a bug in Blaž's ear, which Blaž will have a hard time resisting, and in the process jeopardizes Špiro's "physics class".

Halloween is approaching, but the real horror in Blaž's building is the election for the new tenant representative. Can Blaž and Špiro stop the dangerous neighbor Zoran from taking over the building, all for his own personal gain? But the horror and terror for Blaž does not end there: namely, Daria and Ivona are preparing to watch the original Carpenter's "Halloween", and Elvis will join them in a Count Dracula costume - he may be invisible to mortals, but Blaž (to his chagrin) sees him and realizes that Elvis is his daughter's mysterious boyfriend. Will Blaž approve of this relationship? Will Grandma Bjanka, with Ankica's help, manage to prove to Maja that ghosts really exist? Will Ankica be able to find out from her grandmother's ghost where the family jewelry has disappeared? What did Mate from Zvončaci do wrong, and what did the religious teacher at Ivona's school do?

Elvis opens the ballot tournament he organized for his neighborhood with an Advent tournament, but as his team falls apart, Blaž rushes in as a referee and Špiro and Ankica as teammates. Ivona made fun of the history teacher at school, who sells conspiracy theories to them in class, so Blaž is called to the homeroom teacher Marjeta for information. However, it seems that Marjeta is more interested in arranging a date with Blaž than solving disciplinary problems...
